IL Cortile Ristorante

Design Brief

IL Cortile Ristorante, a fine dining Italian restaurant is in a newly constructed building and begins with a street-facing open-air courtyard, setting the stage for a refined yet inviting experience.

Inside, a recessed hipped-roof ceiling in clear maple wood anchors the space, complemented by two elegant pendant lights and a sound-control soffit that enhances intimacy and acoustic comfort.

A horizontally lit banquette wall creates a striking focal point, while window-like framed mirrors on the opposing wall reflect warmth and light, giving the space a sense of expanded elegance.

A dark hickory wood full-service bar is tucked into a cozy corner, offering a warm and welcoming area for guests to relax. Hickory wood flooring and trim run throughout, tying the design together with richness and continuity.

This project captures a harmonious balance of form, material, and mood—crafted to deliver a memorable and elevated dining experience.
