Joebella Coffee Roasters – Organic Roastery & Coffee Shop Design | Atascadero, CA

This project marks our second collaboration with the owners of Joebella Coffee Roasters, resulting in a purpose-built Coffee Shop and Roasting Facility located in Atascadero, California. Designed to reflect the brand’s commitment to sustainability and organic practices, the space supports both retail service and wholesale coffee production with thoughtful, functional design.

Joebella exclusively roasts Certified Organic coffee beans, and the architecture of the space was developed to align with their eco-conscious philosophy. Natural materials, energy-efficient elements, and an open layout work together to express the purity and care that goes into every roast.

Two defining features of the space include a custom Swiss Cross skylight positioned above the central coffee service bar, flooding the interior with natural light and serving as a unique architectural statement. A large viewing window into the Roasting Room connects guests to the heart of the operation, showcasing the roasting process and emphasizing transparency and craft.

This facility blends sustainable design with welcoming hospitality, making it a true reflection of Joebella’s mission and a cornerstone for community connection in Atascadero.
